Who we are

Quantum Dodge Studios designs and builds custom websites for small and mid-size businesses. We work remotely and serve clients in the United States and the United Kingdom.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to respond to you and run this site.

Information you provide

If you use the quote form, we receive the fields you submit: name, email address, company or business name (optional), project type, and your message. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include in that correspondence.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider may record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, referring page, dates and times of requests, and pages viewed. We do not use this information to build marketing profiles. We do not currently place advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

How we use information

We use personal information to:

• Review quote requests and decide whether we are a fit
• Reply with a range, questions, or a time to speak
• Carry out a project if we agree to work together
• Keep records needed for accounting, taxes, and legal compliance
• Operate, secure, and troubleshoot this website

We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list unless you ask us to. We do not sell, rent, or share your information for advertising.

Legal bases (UK and EEA visitors)

If UK GDPR or EU GDPR applies, we process inquiry data because it is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract, or because we have a legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries and running a professional studio. We rely on consent only where we specifically ask for it. We process some records because we are required to by law (for example, tax records if you become a client).

Who we share information with

We do not share personal information except with the services required to operate, and only as needed:

• Email: inquiries are delivered to us through Google Gmail. If Resend is configured as a backup, their terms apply as well. Google’s terms and privacy policy apply.
• Hosting: this website is served by our hosting provider, which may process technical logs to deliver and secure the site.
• Specialists: if a project requires a contractor (for example copy or photography), we share only what they need to do that work, under a duty of confidentiality.
• Authorities: we may disclose information if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Retention

Quote-form and email inquiries are kept for as long as needed to assess fit, reply, and follow up, and then for a limited period in case you return to the conversation. If we do not proceed, we typically delete or archive inquiry records within 24 months, unless a longer period is required for legal reasons.

If we work together, contract, billing, and project files are retained for the life of the engagement and for as long as tax, accounting, or legal obligations require after that.

Cookies

This site does not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking pixels. Your browser may still store essential data needed for the site to function (for example, a session used by the host). You can control cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may affect how the site works.

International transfers

We work remotely. Your information may be stored or processed in the United States (including by Google and our hosting provider). If you contact us from the UK or EEA, that is an international transfer. We use established providers and transfer mechanisms they offer for this purpose.

Your rights

You may ask us to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to restrict how we use it. Email quantumdodgestudios@gmail.com and we will respond within a reasonable period, and within any time required by applicable law.

UK and EEA residents may also have the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests, to request portability of information you provided, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office). California residents: we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are used in the CCPA/CPRA.

Children

This website is intended for business clients. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We may update this policy when our practices or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you should review the new policy.
